Born and bred in East London, Robert joined Story Cellar as Head Chef from our sister restaurant Dovetale. His first job was as an apprentice chef at Restaurant 1837 in Brown’s Hotel from where he then went on to work at The Langham, Hotel Café Royal and Alfred’s. With both Robert’s parents being chefs, he has always felt at home in the kitchen. Passionate about working with great produce, Robert loves interacting with guests at the counter and sharing all things Cellar.
